CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been going against each other for months. They have developed a blood feud, and it seems fans are invested in it more than ever. With animosity being all-time high, there has been a report that suggests a major gimmick match that might culminate this iconic feud once and for all.
According to WRKD Wrestling, the Best in the World might face the Scottish Warrior inside a ‘Hell in a Cell’ at Bad Blood. It is a plan that has been discussed in the WWE creative that might happen at the PLE. It is highly likely that the event features a ‘Hell in a Cell’ match to pay homage to the first ever match of the same gimmick.
Therefore, there is no more heated feud than this that can justify the stipulation of hell. Moreover, both stars have claimed to destroy each other a number of times in the past few months. Hence, a Cell match might be a way to end this mega feud. The show is going to take place in Atlanta on 5 October 2024.
Besides, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre faced each other at SummerSlam. However, it was not a one-on-one fight, as Seth Rollins was involved as the ‘special referee’ in the match. Although the Scottish Born came out victorious from the match, their rivalry is far from over right now.
CM Punk sends a bold message to his critics
CM Punk has been a professional wrestling veteran. He has had an illustrious career and has been in many fantastic matches. However, there is a long history of him and criticism around him. Recently, the Second City Saint gave a strong response to his critics.
In a sit-down interview with Michael Cole, the Best in the World stated that he doesn’t listen to his critics. He said that he is grateful for the people who have paved the way for his success. However, he doesn’t like people who have a feeling of jealousy with him. Therefore, he has no interest in his haters, as he knows they are wrong and he is right.
I’ve never been one to listen to most of the critics. There’s people who have paved the way for me to be here, and I will always lend an ear. And then there’s people who have come after me, who have always just seemingly been jealous of me.CM Punk
Moreover, the Voice of the Voiceless added that these haters motivate him instead. Punk went on to say that all his life, he has adopted the path to prove people wrong. In fact, he tried to be different from the others and be unique throughout his career.
