Jeff Hardy is a wrestling veteran who has competed all over the world. He is one of the most popular names in wrestling and has held world championships in several promotions. The 46-year-old has now parted ways with AEW and will return to a promotion in which he saw major success in the past.
According to a report by PWInsider, Hardy will return to TNA this weekend. The promotion will hold its ‘Against All Odds’ show on June 14, 2024. The former World Heavyweight Champion is likely to make his return to the company at the PPV.
There was much speculation about where Hardy would end up after his AEW contract expired. Many fans thought that the high-flying legend would follow in the footsteps of former AEW star Ethan Page, who recently joined the WWE. The 46-year-old could have had one last run with the company that put him on the map. Alas, it was not to be.
However, the partnership between TNA and WWE has strengthened in the past month. Jordynne Grace had a great mini-run on NXT. Further, Brooks Jensen has also teased an appearance on Impact. This could mean that Hardy may appear on WWE TV soon, even without being under contract with the company.
Jeff Hardy set to compete for the TNA World Championship against Moose
The Enigmatic Soul’s role at the pay per view was already teased by TNA prior to the show. On the episode of IMPACT before Against All Odds, The System visited the infamous Hardy Compound. The members of the faction could be seen standing next to a wall with graffiti of faces painted on it.
Alisha Edwards wondered who could have been behind the paintings. Moose replied, saying that they were likely created by Jeff Hardy. Before they could continue the conversation, Eddie Edwards ushered them into the compound for the rest of the segment.
The Charismatic Enigma’s return to TNA has opened up several possibilities for the wrestling veteran. Matt Hardy has stated on multiple occasions that he does not believe The Hardy Boyz story has come to an end and wants to team up with his brother once again. With the Broken One already signed to TNA, fans could see one last tag team run between the two brothers.
