Last Saturday, Trish Stratus made a stunning return to the squared circle. She entered the women’s Royal Rumble match and lasted over 13 minutes. The Canuck hung in there, keeping pace with some women who were almost half her age. Even though her WrestleMania dreams got shattered by Nia Jax, Stratus isn’t done with WWE?

Fightful Select is reporting that the 49-year-old icon is expected to be mingled into WWE programming heading into the Elimination Chamber. It’s worth noting that the notorious PLE will emanate from Stratus’ home city of Toronto on March 1. Chances of her making it to the show have just gone up a notch.

The report also added that WWE has rolled out new merchandise to commemorate Trish’s 25 years in the business. She made her in-ring debut for the company back in 2000. What many fans find extremely fascinating is how well ‘The Quintessential WWE Diva’ has aged having taken an early retirement from wrestling in 2006 itself.

Stratus turned 49 last December but she’s showing no signs of slowing down. If her latest Royal Rumble exploits were an indication of things to come, the young guns might be walking on eggshells. Speaking of what Stratus could end up doing at the Elimination Chamber, a simple appearance would be the bare minimum. It doesn’t seem like she’d be competing in the women’s chamber match, if at all, on that night.

Could she challenge either of the current women’s title holders to try and upset them in front of her fellow Canadians? It’s a possibility for sure. WWE did tease the Hall of Famer going after Tiffany Stratton at last year’s Money in the Bank. The two women came face-to-face backstage.

Trish Stratus’ yet-to-start run may not end until WrestleMania 41

It’s not certain at this point if Trish Stratus will stick around in WWE past the Elimination Chamber. However, the former Women’s Champion may feel tempted to get one more WrestleMania moment under her resume before she hangs up her boots for good.

Trish last competed at The Show of Shows in 2023, teaming up with Lita and Becky Lynch. The trio ousted Bayley-led Damage CTRL in an epic six-woman tag team contest. Even if Stratus actually goes the extra mile once again this year, whom would she face?

Everything right now is merely speculation. The WWE legend is apparently pitching ideas to the creative regarding what she’d like to do. To set the record straight, Canada’s Greatest Export hasn’t had a singles match since losing to Becky Lynch at Payback 2023 inside a steel cage.
