Malik Nabers has fulfilled his dream of playing in the NFL. Selected by the New York Giants, the former LSU star will likely be their No. 1 receiver when the season opens. That selection also gives the signal that Daniel Jones will continue to be their starting quarterback. That led to an awkward situation when Nabers was asked a question about Jones.

In his first press conference after being selected as the 6th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Nabers was asked about his opinion on Daniel Jones.

I'll wait till I get here to see, you know all that. I'm just happy to be here. Great organization here. So, I'm just happy to be here.
Daniel Jones

Essentially, Nabers deflected the question by talking about him joining the Giants. A perfect twist to avoid talking about his quarterback who had a miserable last season.

The New York Giants drafted Malik Nabers to be their primary receiver going forward. But even the former LSU star knows that the quarterback situation will not make things easy for him at least in the upcoming season.

Fans think Malik Nabers is unsure of his quarterback

For any receiver, the biggest priority is to have a decent quarterback who can throw him the ball. In the case of Daniel Jones, last season saw him throw 6 interceptions in the 6 games he played. Not at all a promising stat line for any wideout expecting to make his mark on the league. This is why fans believe Malik Nabers avoided the question to hide his true feelings.

They took to social media to provide their two cents on what Nabers is feeling about his situation. Check some of their reactions below:

The New York Giants could have drafted one of the quarterbacks in this 2024 edition of the NFL Draft. After all, a 6th overall pick could have been used to address their biggest concern. Malik Nabers also seems to be of that opinion.
