Malik Nabers' mom only has the best interest for her son, who hasn't been in a dysfunctional locker room like the Giants before.

Malik Nabers’ mother, Tonya Nabers, shared her thoughts about the mess among the ranks inside the New York Giants franchise. Her son has been one of the bright spots in an otherwise dysfunctional Giants team that has just two wins after 11 games.
On top of it, they released Daniel Jones, the quarterback for whom Nabers was supposed to become the main target for several years down the line. Yet, the express decision by the Giants was to part ways with the Duke graduate, rely on the backups, and draft a new quarterback in 2025.
The first game without Jones ended with a 7-30 defeat against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tommy DeVito made his debut for the season with Drew Lock on the bench. Nabers finished with just 6 catches for 64 yards.
Nabers later took shots at the Giants’ coaches and the hierarchy by suggesting the quarterback isn’t the issue. The rookie wideout received backing from his mother a day later. Tonya Nabers shared her thoughts about the entire situation.

Brian Daboll acknowledged Malik Nabers’ frustration with not getting enough passes
Nabers got off to a historic start in the Big Apple. He recorded a couple of 100-yard games in the few weeks before sitting out due to a concussion in a Week 4 loss to the Cowboys. He missed two games and hasn’t tallied another 100 yards since. In fact, he has failed to add more than 71 yards since then.
It naturally created frustration in Nabers, who thrives while regularly seeing the ball. However, in his own words, the ball finally came to him when the Giants were 30 points down against the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Daboll responded to Nabers’ comments during his weekly media availability.
#Giants HC Brian Daboll says he spoke to WR Malik Nabers. Wants to keep the conversation private but said, “He’s a very competitive individual. You want to get the ball in his hands and I’ve got to do a better job of getting the ball in his hands early.”

The Giants drafted Nabers by passing on the chance to take a quarterback during the 2024 draft. He leads the team with 67 catches for 671 yards and three touchdowns.
All eyes now will be on the Thanksgiving game in Dallas. While the Giants only have pride to play for, the Cowboys are aiming for a late-season revival.
