There was plenty to talk about the Las Vegas Raiders’ final pre-season game against the San Francisco 49ers on and off the field. The two teams were deadlocked at 24-24, and it required one crazy play for the final outcome, which got the better of some of the fans in the stands as a fight broke out between the two sets of fans.
The 49ers traveled to the Allegiant Stadium on Saturday night looking to close out a mixed-bag pre-season on a high but had to deal with the Raiders’ stingy defense. The game looked set to end in a 49ers victory until Daniel Carlson dispatched a 43-yard field goal with just 16 seconds left.
While the players quickly got back in the midfield to resume the game, the tension was high in the stands. Even though it was merely a pre-season game of low consequence, fans always want bragging rights, especially when it’s between the Raiders and the 49ers fans.
In the clip shared by Grind Face TV, several 49ers fans could be seen ganging up on a man in an area populated by Raiders fans. A fan wearing a Joe Montana jersey appeared to repeatedly kick and throw punches at the man lying on the ground because of the impact.

As the camera moved closer to the brawl, another man used a chair to subdue the man on the ground so that he could not defend himself from the onslaught. Fans wearing Christian McCaffrey and Frank Gore jerseys moved in and broke the fight up, but the man on the ground had his face and head covered in blood. Some additional Raiders fans stepped in to help with the cleanout.

The Raiders and 49ers rivalry dates back to the Al Davis era. These two fanbases don’t like each other, and it continues to this day. Similar to the recent pre-season skirmish, in 2023 a fight broke out at the local burger shop after the Chargers-49ers game.
According to FOX’s KTVU, violent scenes erupted at a fast-food chain in Santa Clara, California, following the 49ers preseason game Friday night at Levi’s Stadium. In the video, one man wearing 49ers and another with Raiders gear were captured, hitting a shirtless man lying flat on the ground.
