Manchester United have been without central defender Leny Yoro ever since he picked up a foot injury at the start of the season. The Frenchman injured his foot during a pre-season friendly against Arsenal, which forced him to the sidelines for at least three months. As United prepare to take on Fenerbahce in the Europa League, the player’s return offers a significant boost to their defensive department.
As things stand, United are currently enduring their worst start to a Premier League season and are in 12th. They have only managed to pick up 11 points in their first eight games and need a quick change in fortune if they are to salvage their season. A fan opined that Leny Yoro‘s return is exactly what Erik ten Hag and the Red Devils need at the moment.
Even though the player took part in a number of drills under the supervision of the medical team, he is still short of taking part in any group training session.

Yoro was forced to undergo surgery after picking up the injury just days after signing for the club. Ten Hag also confirmed that Yoro’s recovery is improving and on the right track.
Manchester United looking to loan out $112 million star in January
Manchester United got hold of former Ajax star Antony back in 2022 for a hefty price tag of £86 million. However, it wouldn’t be wrong to state the Brazilian has failed to live up to his enormous price tag and has disappointed both fans and management alike. As the January transfer window comes up, reports claiming a potential move away from the club for the player have surfaced.
As per reports, United are willing to loan out the player in January, with Ajax, Crystal Palace and Newcastle United all on the radar. Antony doesn’t find a spot in Ten Hag’s plans for the season and has made a total of just three appearances in all competitions this season. With the advent of INEOS and their focus on cutting costs and reducing the wage bill, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Antony were shipped off alongside Casemiro in January.

Recently, club legend Sir Alex Ferguson was also asked to vacate his position as an ambassador as part of the cost-cutting measures. As things stand, United are yet to figure out a winning formula for the season. They face West Ham United in the Premier League later this month.
