Manchester United star Casemiro reveals why he GAVE AWAY FA Cup medal to Tyrell Malacia

Ever since Tyrell Malacia has joined Manchester United, his days at Old Trafford has been rife with injuries. His first game for the Red Devils came against Liverpool and he proved to be a rock on that left wing for Manchester United. Malacia has only managed to feature in 40 games until now and his long-standing troubles with injuries hasn’t really made his life easier.
Manchester United were the champions of the 2023-24 FA Cup as they beat their city rivals, Manchester City, by 2-1. At the end of the game, Casemiro who wasn’t a part of the playing XI in the final, did march with the team and collected his individual medal for his contribution in the earlier games. However, Tyrell Malacia recently revealed that the Brazilian midfielder handed over his medal to the former as a gesture of love.
I didn’t know Malacia had talked about it, but it’s true, I gave him my medal. He hadn’t played a single game that season, and he didn’t want to climb the steps. There was no medal for him, so I gave him mine. He’s part of the team and we’re counting on him. Even though he hasn’t played this season, we love him, we need him and he also needs love.

During the FA Cup Final, Alejandro Garnacho had opened the scoring for United in the summit clash while Kobbie Mainoo hammered home a second. Despite Jeremy Doku reducing the deficit in the 87th minute, it wasn’t enough for the Cityzens to push back United. That was the only trophy that the Red Devils secured last season, concluding proceedings on a high.
Why Casemiro scolded Alejandro Garnacho after Manchester United’s clash with Chelsea
In a report by Tuko.co.ke Casemiro was seen berating Alejandro Garnacho for his failure to track back against Chelsea. In the clash against Chelsea, Garnacho was dispossessed by Pedro Neto, but in a bid to outrun the Portuguese attacker, Garnacho lost his foothold and made a hash of affairs.
In the all-important clash against the Blues, despite securing a lead in the game through Bruno Fernandes, Moises Caicedo restored parity for Chelsea and that remained to be the final scoreline.
Manchester United will be facing their first major challenge under Ruben Amorim when they lock horns with Arsenal in the latter’s backyard. Following that they will have another important clash against Nottingham Forest, before they return to the Europa League.
They will be facing Viktoria Plzen in a bid to try and improve their position in the current league table of the European competition.
