Manchester United vs Burnley: Manchester United squared off against Burnley at Old Trafford in Matchday 18 of the ongoing edition of the Premier League.
Manchester United were able to take an early lead from a sublime strike by Scott McTominayin in the 8th minute. They went on to get a second goal courtesy of a deflection from Ben Mee. Finally, Cristiano Ronaldo was able to tap in the 3rd goal for the home side. However, Burnley were able to pull one back by a fantastic solo from Aaron Lennon.

David de Gea (6/10): The Spanish goalkeeper was pretty solid in front of the nets, made some good saves and his ball distribution was also decent.
Harry Maguire(6/10): The centre back was solid in the backline making some good blocks and also pretty good in closing down spaces.
Eric Bailly(6/10): Made some pretty good stops and was good in the air defending crosses and corners. He was also decent with his passing.
Luke Shaw(6.5/10): The left-back was very good on the left flank running smoothly with the ball towards the defenders and he also managed some shots at the goal.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka(5.5/10): The right-back was also good on the ball and also off the ball. He was pretty good defensively making on-time tackles on the opponents.
Nemanja Matic(6/10): The midfielder had a quite decent game tonight playing some good passes and also closing down opponents when off the ball.
Scott McTominay(7.5/10): The midfielder had an impressive game tonight scoring the 1st goal for the home team. He also played some good passes and his pressing was quite impressive tonight. He also managed a couple of very good shots at the goal.
Cristiano Ronaldo(7/10): The Portuguese forward had an impressive night, assisted the 1st goal and netted the 3rd goal from a rather simple tap in. He was also good off the ball, making some excellent runs into the box.
Edinson Cavani(6/10): The Uruguayan forward had a decent night linking up well with the midfielders and the forwards, sometimes dropping to receive the ball.
Mason Greenwood(6.5/10): The English winger was impressive today with the ball and was always running at the defenders with ease. He played some excellent passes and managed some shots at the goal.
Jadon Sancho(6.5/10): He was absolutely delightful to watch today, carried the ball with ease and was also impressive off the ball. He made a shot at the goal and the shot was deflected which led to the 2nd goal for the home side.

Raphaël Varane (5/10): He was decent in the backline for the 25 minutes he played today. Made some stops and blocks and was good with his passing.

Wayne Hennessey(4.5/10): The goalkeeper did not have a very convincing game today and was scored past 3 times. However, he also made some good stops and kept the home side to 3 goals.
Ben Mee(4.5/10): Though he was decent defensively today, it was his right-footed deflection that led to the 2nd goal for Manchester United. He was good in the air too.
James Tarkowski(5/10): He was not very impressive defensively and failed to stop the opponent forwards in the box from getting into the box, but he made some stops and blocks.
Charlie Taylor(4.5/10): The left-back was not very satisfactory throughout the game, though he did make some runs with the ball into the opponent’s half.
Matthew Lowton(5.5/10): The right-back had a good game tonight. He was good both defensively and offensively, making good blocks and some good runs too.
Jack Cork(5/10): He had a decent performance tonight, playing some good passes and making some good interceptions In the middle of the park.
Ashley Westwood(5.5/10): The English defensive midfielder played a decent part in the game tonight, closing down spaces and also making some good vertical and side passes.
Dwight McNeil(5/10): The winger had a satisfactory game as he was able to carry the ball a couple of times with ease into the opponents half. Though he could have done more with chances that were being created.
Johann Gudmundsson(4.5/10): He had a very ordinary game tonight, not very good on the ball. However, his off the ball movement was decent tonight.
Aaron Lennon(6.5/10): He was by far the best player on the pitch for the visitors tonight. He scored an amazing solo goal, winning the ball in the middle of the pitch and running into the defenders and putting the ball behind the nets.
Chris Wood(5.5/10): He had a pretty decent performance tonight, always running and trying to create pressure on the defenders and the goalkeeper. He also made a few good passes.
Substitutes:
Dale Stephens (4/10): Did not have a very effective game coming off the bench. The only thing he could manage was a few passes and some interceptions.
Matej Vydra (3.5/10): He was not at all effective after coming on as a sub. Though, he played a few passes but without much effectiveness.
