David De Gea (6.6/10):  De Gea tried to save the day for United yet another time. He did all the good work with the best of the blocks mainly in the first half giving the least chances to Wolves attack.

Wan Bissaka (6.5/10): Bissaka was good with the run as always. But he lost the ball possessions more often trying to make a way ahead.

Phil Jones (6.3/10): Phil Jones is back in action after 712 days in Premier League. He gave a disappointing start as his bad header clearance just led to a Wolves goal leaving United behind.

Raphael Varane (6.6/10): Varane was actively involved in defense today. He carried out most of the work making strong interceptions tonight.

Luke Shaw (5.8/10): He didn’t have a good game tonight. He ended up in the booking yet another time earning a yellow card.

Scott McTominay (6.1/10):  Mctominay had an average game tonight. He ended up in the booking for a bad tackle.

Nemanja Matic (7.2/10):  Matic has been quite good in the mid-area tonight. He has been in a good form after a long while. He provided some good passes in the gap reaching Ronaldo in front.

Mason Greenwood (5.7/10): Greenwood seemed pretty inactive tonight. He lost the possession with the only attempt he got in the box. He was later on substituted at the start of 2nd half.

Jadon Sancho (6.1/10): Sancho shows signs of improvement with every game. He created a good move in the 1st half but didn’t get many chances in the 2nd half.

Edinson Cavani (6.4/10): Cavani gave a strong push ahead but certainly didn’t manage to convert any chances tonight. He was tackled well by Coady every time he tried a move ahead.

Cristiano Ronaldo (5.8/10): The fan-favorite has been quite poor tonight. He ended up hitting the shots well wide of the target and at the same time, he couldn’t control the ball properly.

Substitutions:

Bruno Fernandes (6.1/10): Bruno added magic in the game straight after entering the field. He provided some necessary balls in the gap creating efforts for a goal.

Rashford (5.8/10): Rashford got involved in the attack lately but still couldn’t quite make much of a difference.

A.Elanga (5.6/10): He entered the field within the closing minutes so didn’t get to play many parts in the game.

Wolves

Jose SA (6.5/10):  Jose Sa had to make very little effort tonight. Wolves were good with the attack and he had very few chances and some of them were just easy saves.

Romain Saiss (6.8/10):  Saiss made some good defensive interceptions tonight. He stopped Cavani quite easily with some powerful interceptions and body cover.

Conor Coady (6.8/10):  The Wolves captain earns a clean sheet after a long time. He was involved well in defense trying to manage some good ball clearances.

Maximilian Kilman (7/10): Kilman has become a fan favorite in the defense. He gives his best efforts in every game improving at a greater height. He was much better making some last moment tackles.

O Marcal (6.1/10):  He performed some good parts moving down the wing to contribute with some good attack. He also managed to gather some good wing-side crosses.

Joao Moutinho (9/10): Moutinho created a game-changing moment drawing the shot sweetly in the bottom corner. He was present at the right moment to make the goal difference and gift Wolves a huge win.

Ruben Neves (7/10):  He tried to gather some passes in the midfield area. He opted for a great volley in the 1st half almost getting close to a goal.

Daniel Podence (7.6/10):  The Portuguese were strongly involved today. He made some good attacking push searching for opportunities. He pulled a great freekick that had just hit the bar.

Nelson Semedo (7.4/10): With such a good attacking flow coming from Wolves, Semedo made his way ahead more often. He also searched for gaps and took a few shots from the wing.

Raul Jimenez (6.3/10): Jimenez got a few chances in the attack to open the scores. His shots were on target well but De Gea safely clutched them away.

Trinca (6/10): Trincao had been quite off-form with the start. He couldn’t pressurize the united defense properly and ended up giving the ball possession.

Substitutions:

 Adama Traore (5.8/10): Traore did some good attacking part after entering. His deadly cross forced Jones to make the clearance that led to a goal for the Wolves.

Fabio Silva (5.8/10) didn’t manage to put much of an effort after entering the field. He entered the field in the closing minutes so couldn’t get many parts to play.

Dendoncker (5.5/10):  He entered the field within the closing minutes so didn’t get to play many parts in the game.
