At NXT Roadblock, Stephanie Vaquer made history by defeating Giulia to become the new NXT Women’s Champion. This victory made her the first woman in NXT to hold two titles, as she already held the NXT Women’s North American Championship. However, a former WWE superstar turned OnlyFans model had something to say about it.

A fan on X pointed out that Vaquer wasn’t the first women’s double champion in NXT—it was actually Mandy Rose—and also criticized WWE for not acknowledging Rose’s accomplishments. The fan argued that WWE erased her achievements due to her controversial past with the company. Surprisingly, Rose responded, thanking the fan for recognizing her success and calling out WWE’s pathetic scheme of erasure.

However, X’s fact-checking feature clarified the confusion, stating that the NXT UK Women’s Title Mandy Rose won was unified with the NXT Women’s Title, meaning she was never a double champion. In contrast, Vaquer held both titles separately and even defended them on the latest episode of NXT.

Haha yea it’s pretty pathetic isn’t it!! Thanks for the recognition tho! Appreciate you!!

Mandy Rose on X

Rose had the best run of her career in NXT, holding the Women’s Title for over 400 days. She lost the championship on the December 13 episode of NXT, where Roxanne Perez defeated her in a rematch. The next day, WWE released her due to her adult content. Rose has repeatedly stated that she has no regrets about leaving WWE and now earns more than she ever did during her wrestling career.

Sonya Deville revealed that Mandy Rose wasn’t happy with her booking in WWE

Former WWE superstar Sonya Deville was one of Rose’s closest friends and tag team partners under the name Fire and Desire. However, in 2020, Deville turned heel on Rose, leading to a scheduled Hair vs. Hair match. In an interview, the former Tag Team Champion revealed that Rose was unhappy with the booking decision.

While speaking with Ariel Helwani on his show, she revealed that WWE initially planned a Hair vs. Hair match between her and Rose. However, after a stalker broke into her home, the plans changed. Deville also shared that she was originally set to win the match despite being a heel, which frustrated the former NXT Women’s Champion.

Mandy was kind of upset because she’s like, ‘I’m the babyface here and you’ve been kicking my a** the whole time.’ I saw her point, and we actually went and got the finished changed for me to lose. It was my decision. I went and got it changed. I took time off after that. Storyline wise, but also because of the incident.

Deville admitted that Rose was upset because WWE booked her to lose despite her being a babyface. Understanding her friend’s frustration, Deville requested WWE to change the outcome. WWE approved the change, allowing Rose to win a No Disqualification, Loser Leaves WWE match. After the stalker incident, Deville decided to take some time off.

Mandy Rose was recently involved in a ‘beef’ with Tiffany Stratton

Since her main roster debut, Tiffany Stratton has received praise from wrestling fans worldwide. However, she recently got into a heated online feud with the Golden Goddess. Rose accused her of copying her gimmick and even delivering promos with the same tone. While Rose usually enjoys WWE references, this one annoyed her.

The Buff Barbie responded on Ring The Belle, admitting that Rose’s comments hurt her somewhat. She also found it disappointing that Rose chose a podcast to voice her frustrations. However, Stratton emphasized that she had no hard feelings toward the former NXT Women’s Champion and wished her the best.

Despite the 25-year-old champion’s mature response, the verbal feud continued. Rose acknowledged that while they could admire and respect each other’s work, copying someone’s words was a big mistake. However, she recently put an end to the rumors by praising Stratton’s in-ring skills.
