Stephanie Vaquer currently holds both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Many have praised her for making history and becoming the first female double champion in NXT. However, Mandy Rose has constantly contested that she achieved this feat before anyone.

In a recent video uploaded to her X account, Mandy Rose said that people who have never held a championship have no right to determine what a double champion means. She asserted that she still held two championships at the same time and unified them. It didn’t matter to her what fans said, as in her eyes, she was the first one to achieve this feat.

Vaquer recently faced off against Giulia at NXT Roadblock. She had put up her NXT Women’s North American Championship on the line in a title vs. title match. She managed to come out on top and made history by being the first woman to hold both these titles simultaneously.

Meanwhile, Rose was the NXT Women’s Champion heading into Worlds Collide 2022. She went up against Blair Davenport and then-NXT Women’s UK Champion Meiko Satomura in a triple-threat match. The OnlyFans model came out on top and unified the two titles, effectively retiring the UK version. Of course, she would later lose her title to Roxanne Perez and be released from WWE a week later after the company found out about her adult entertainment venture.

Stephanie Vaquer defends both her titles on NXT

Although being a double champion sounds great in theory, it often involves double the work being put in. Stephanie Vaquer found this out the hard way on the latest episode of NXT when she was forced to defend both her titles in two different matches on the same night.

Vaquer began her night by defending the NXT Women’s Championship against Jaida Parker. After an intense match, the champion barely held on to her title with a quick roll-up. However, Fatal Influence ambushed her after the match as she was supposed to defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against the faction’s Fallon Henley later that night.

Vaquer made her entrance once again during the main event of the show, this time to defend her other title. Despite plenty of interference from Jasmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne, the Chilean landed an SSB and retained her title after pinning Henley.

Jordynne Grace hints at coming after Stephanie Vaquer

Following Stephanie Vaquer’s match against Fallon Henley, Fatal Influence entered the ring once again to beat down the double champion. Jordynne Grace came running out and kicked all three members of the faction out of the ring after landing some stiff elbows, clotheslines, and kicks.

Grace picked up the belts and went to hand them over to Vaquer. However, she held onto a belt for a little too long, causing some tension between the two. Jaida Parker rushed them into the ring, but she was easily taken out soon after. The show eventually went off the air with these behemoths of the women’s division staring each other down.

After Giulia and Vaquer, Jordynne Grace is currently the biggest superstar in the NXT women’s division. Thus, it is no secret that she would be the next challenger for the Dark Angel’s titles. With NXT Stand and Deliver just around the corner, this could be the big money match for the developmental brand’s biggest show of the year.
