Another NHL game, another scrum. During the game between the Minnesota Wild and the Calgary Flames, things got a little heated up. In the second period, a scrum broke out between the two players near the Wild goal which lead to Marc-Andre Fleury getting punched in the face by Rasmus Andersson.
The Flames were leading the game 2-1 when the incident broke out. As the visitors tried to extend their lead, a shot was saved by Fleury as he covered the puck.
After some pushing and shoving, Andersson got involved in the scrum. Fleury would eventually try to pull him away and tried to cool things down.
The Flames star though did not want that. He would go after the veteran goaltender for pulling him away and landed a strong punch right on his face. Mats Zuccarello came into the aide of his teammate and jumped on Andersson.

The Wild’s social media account would later comment regarding Fleury getting punch. In one tweet they wrote, “We all know the #1 rule: DON’T touch the goalie“. A few moments later, they reposted this tweet and wrote, “Punching Flower is crazy work“.
