Marc Rosset is a former tennis player from Switzerland, who reached as high as no.9 on the World rankings. Although he never won a Grand Slam, he won an Olympic Gold medal for Switzerland in Tennis singles at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.

Rosset thinks that Roger Federer needs to get fitter before the Wimbledon starts. He believes that Federer must participate in the clay court season if he wants to challenge for the Wimbledon trophy. Rosset says that the game on grass has changed considerably in the last few years, and you can now play on grass from the baseline. They serve and volley days are gone now. On a lighter note Rosset added that back in 2013 people had started talking about Federer’s retirement, and look what’s happened after eight long years, we are still talking.

Marc Rosset said, “If Federer wants to win Wimbledon, he needs to play on clay. It will help him to get fitter.“
