Marcus Smart talks about Boston Celtics after Jayson Tatum return back to action

Having contracted with Covid 19, Boston Celtic’s talisman Jayson Tatum has missed five game for his team now. Having played last the Washington Wizards, Tatum looks like all set to bounce back on the court tomorrow against the Chicago Bulls. Celtics’ recent game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jaylen Brown led the team with 33 points and scored the most points under 20 minutes in the short clock era in NBA’s History.
However, defensive juggernaut Marcus Smart spoke about how Boston Celtics’ are missing their marquee player, Jayson Tatum. Given that out of the 5 games Celtics have played without Tatum, they have won only 2. They had a massive 30-point blowout loss against the Knicks. Their next two defeats came via Joel Embiid le Philadelphia 76ers.

Smart said, “Tatum’s one of the best scorers and one of the best young players in the league. Not only that, he’s very important to the team and brings so much we need. Especially in times like this where we’ve kind of been in a slump.”
“The scoring, energy, and effectiveness that he brings in the game is something we’re going to need. Having him back is definitely going to help bring our level up to the standards that we’re supposed to have, added Smart”
Having said that the Celtics play the Bulls and the Spurs next, before facing eternal rivals, the Lakers, at the Staples Center. That game already promises to be a thriller. Tatum and company will be keen to spoil the party for the home team. With Kemba Walker also emerging into form after 11 games in the season. Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker could lead the Celtics to the top of the Eastern Conference yet again.
