Tough luck for Mark Andrews and Lamar Jackson. They were extremely close to knocking out the Buffalo Bills and returning to the AFC Championship game, but a lapse of concentration from the experienced tight end in the final moments cost the Ravens.
After Bill’s Terrell Bernard recovered the lost ball in the fourth quarter, Tyler Bass increased the lead to eight points. The Ravens required at least seven points in the final two minutes to force overtime.
Lamar Jackson stepped up and led his legacy drive to throw a 24-yard touchdown pass to tight end Isaiah Likely to increase the hope for the traveling Ravens supporters who arrived at Highmark Stadium in below-freezing temperatures.
Jackson snapped the ball for the two-point conversion to steal the game under the Bills’ noses. He threw the ball on the run to an open Mark Andrews, but he dropped the ball.
The two-point conversion is no good 😳

Fans call Mark Andrews a choker for dropping Lamar Jackson’s potential game-winning pass
The snow on the turf made the catch much harder than it initially looked. Even before the ball reached Andrews, he was on his way down backward due to slipping on the snow.
The momentum took the 29-year-old away from the ball, making it even harder to catch the pass. Andrews dropped the ball and with it the Ravens’ chance of taking revenge against the Kansas City Chiefs for last season’s AFC title game. The game ended 25-27, and fans blamed the 3x Pro Bowler for the loss.
Mark Andrews is washed. He needs to retire after this game.
