Billionaire businessman and former Dallas Mavericks majority owner Mark Cuban has been having the time of his life on the Club Shay Shay podcast. Alongside host Shannon Sharpe, Cuban has been discussing various topics in and around the NBA. From players to franchises, he has spilled the ‘tea’ over a lot of topics.
Cuban spoke about an NBA Hall of Famer who ‘won’t stop’ smoking hookah. While he did not reveal the player’s identity, fans did not find it hard to guess who it was. Many fans on social media quickly guessed that Cuban was talking about Phoenix Suns star man Kevin Durant.
Notably, Durant is a huge fan of hookah and has been spotted at times in public smoking it. However, Cuban has not made it clear that it was Durant that he was talking about.
However, Cuban did admit that it was Durant who got him to try smoking hookah a few times. However, he revealed that he did not like smoking hookah and that he would not willingly try to smoke again. That being said, it remains to be seen what next story Cuban opens up on regarding any NBA star or franchise.
Kevin Durant was spotted smoking hookah with Drake earlier this year
NBA legend Kevin Durant is quite the character. Earlier this year, he got to spend some time with his favorite artist, Drake, in Canada. Having admitted previously that he liked to smoke hookah, he did exactly that when he met Drake.
The Phoenix Suns player and the Canadian musician were spotted hanging out at Drake’s Toronto home. A picture of the two smoking hookah as part of the Canada Day celebrations was posted on Drake’s Instagram account. The two have been close friends for more than ten years now and their bond only continues to grow stronger.
Additionally, Durant, in an interview with David Letterman, also admitted that he likes to smoke weed. While it is quite unusual for an NBA star to speak something publicly on these topics, Durant has never shied away from voicing his opinions.
