After months of rumors and speculation, Jacob Fatu finally arrived on the latest episode of SmackDown. The former MLW star made an instant impact on his debut, single-handedly laying waste to three top superstars. While the Samoan Werewolf certainly impressed fans, his arrival had been a long time coming. In fact, it would’ve taken place years earlier, according to WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry.

During an appearance on the Busted Open podcast, the former World Heavyweight Champion addressed Fatu’s debut on SmackDown. Henry revealed that he had been watching the 32-year-old closely for a long time. Moreover, he claimed that despite requesting WWE to sign him multiple times, the promotion shut him down. The legend opined that the real-life Bloodline member should’ve been in the company many years ago.

Nevertheless, Mark Henry expressed his gratitude at the Samoan star receiving a well-deserved opportunity in WWE. On SmackDown, Jacob Fatu introduced himself as the newest member of Solo Sikoa‘s Bloodline. By brutalizing three main event talent, including the Undisputed WWE Champion, he proved why many had been eagerly anticipating his debut.

I wanted to make him a Mark Henry guy, and I kept being told no. I’m so glad, I thank God every day that people get second chances.

The San Francisco-born wrestler stood tall with his family after delivering a splash on Cody Rhodes through the announce table. In fact, it looked as if the Tonga brothers were unaware of and shocked by the arrival of Fatu. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how things play out for him and the faction in the coming weeks.

What does Jacob Fatu’s introduction mean for The Bloodline storyline?

Since WrestleMania XL, the dynamics of The Bloodline have significantly changed. First, Jimmy Uso was removed by Solo Sikoa, while Tama Tonga joined the faction. Later, Tonga Loa would end up aligning with his brother as well. However, none of these moments compare to what transpired on last week’s edition of SmackDown.

Jacob Fatu immediately portrayed the faction as an imposing threat. In addition to that, he made the storyline more intriguing than before. When Roman Reigns eventually returns, the Samoan Werewolf’s presence will be helpful in the stable’s impending civil war.

Whether or not Sikoa’s actions are under the direct order of The Rock, The Tribal Chief will look for answers from his right-hand man. All in all, only time will tell how The Bloodline saga shapes up. For now, it seems that The Enforcer is headed toward an Undisputed WWE title match against Cody Rhodes.
