Boston Bruins vs. Nashville Predators game halted within three minutes into the first period on Tuesday (October 22) night following a faceoff between two players. While Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery wanted to make some drastic changes in the lineup, he could not predict his own player’s actions in the game.

Forward Mark Kastelic became a catalyst for the Bruins in their game against the Predators when he started hammering 6’2 defenseman Luke Schenn on the ice. While he did not take any major hits, he relentlessly pounded Schenn until the officials broke them apart.

Pastrnak, who hasn’t been feeling fine since the start of the season, openly admitted that he is trying his best to level up his game. It’s too soon for any verdict as the 2024-25 season has only just begun. He also stated his excitement at teaming up with old partner Marchand.

…I’m excited to get back with Marcy. Obviously, the chemistry is there, so I’m excited.

Coach Jim Montgomery further said he’d like to try to mix and match players in different formations to see which pair-up can provide more offense. In his own words, he’s “trying to generate some chemistry”.

The start of the season has not been great for the team, and Montgomery is looking for a much-needed spark in the lineup. He spoke about how he’d like to see the players chase and pressure the puck more. However, whether the new changes will lead to victory or doom is yet to be seen.
