Over the years, the UFC has established a strong global reputation. Consequently, many notable personalities tune in for their pay-per-view events. Recently, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg attended UFC 313, which is currently taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev are set to headline the event.
Interestingly, Mark Zuckerberg is considered one of the richest individuals in the world, with a staggering net worth of close to $216 billion. The tech giant has recently developed a strong interest in combat sports. As a result, with the anticipation building for Alex Pereira’s clash against Magomed Ankalaev, Zuckerberg did not want to miss out on the excitement of the event.
Before the main event clash, the Meta founder went backstage to meet the UFC light heavyweight champion. This isn’t the first time Zuckerberg and Pereira have captured the attention of the UFC community. During the ongoing Olympic Games in August 2024, the two of them shared a skit on their social media accounts in which they attempted a variety of Olympic sports.

Zuckerberg’s visit to UFC 313 isn’t his first time attending a live UFC pay-per-view event. Over the years, the Meta CEO has frequently been present at UFC fights. As such, he has even established a strong camaraderie with the promotion’s executives. Notably, Pereira wasn’t the only person he greeted and interacted with at the current live UFC pay-per-view event.

Mark Zuckerberg has recently developed a passion for combat sports and has begun training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As he sharpened his skills in this sport, the Meta CEO participated in several competitions. This sudden improvement in Zuckerberg’s physical changes has caught the attention of various well-known figures in the UFC community.

Over the years, Zuckerberg has trained with several top fighters in the UFC community, including Israel Adesanya, Max Holloway, and Alexander Volkanovski. As a result, the Meta CEO has developed a strong friendship with both. Recently, during the ongoing UFC 313 event, Zuckerberg met and embraced Volkanovski as soon as he saw him.

Notably, back in UFC 298, Zuckerberg made a notable appearance and even walked out alongside Volkanovski. The former UFC featherweight champion is currently scheduled to fight at UFC 314 next month. It will be interesting to see if the Meta CEO accompanies Volkanovski to that event as well.
