Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are the new benchmark of the NFL. Three Super Bowls in five seasons do make a team become the ‘standard’. That also means it could be a bad look for the rest of the teams who are unable to beat them to the biggest prize.
Finding those ways to keep winning has seen the Chiefs seemingly get favors off late. Their win against the Houston Texans in the Divisional round has brought up a lot of controversy. Officials mistakes in the regular season could be forgivable. But to see blatant mistakes in the playoffs had fans throwing darts at the NFL.
However, teams that overcome adversity are the ones who win. With regards to officiating mistakes, opposition teams or players cannot do much. But they can play a better game and hope it would be enough to knock the Kansas City Chiefs off their perch. That is what Marlon Humphrey wants teams remaining in the playoffs to do.
I have no reason of saying this other than being a hater. The Bills or whatever NFC team gotta beat the Chiefs. We can’t let them keep getting away with this

The All-Pro corner would have liked if it was up to him and his Baltimore Ravens to do the honors. But since their season is over, he wants other remaining teams to defeat the Chiefs. He knows how they have gotten away with it after losing to them at the start of the season.
Onus is on Josh Allen and Bills to defeat Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs
In this past regular season, the only time Patrick Mahomes and his first team lost was against the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen and his teammates did a stellar job in limiting Mahomes’ possession time, which helped them finish with the higher score.
They will be looking to do the same in the AFC Championship game. Winning in the regular season is one thing, in the playoffs, the Chiefs usually dial up the intensity. Allen’s defensive teammates have to be ready to thump the suspect Chiefs offensive line from the start.
If that leads to turnovers, Josh Allen can then use his otherworldly form from this season to score more points than Mahomes. If they can do that perfectly, they could cause an upset that could see the entire football world rejoice.
The NFL might want the Kansas City Chiefs to win the first ever three-peat in history. Especially with Taylor Swift and possibly Caitlin Clark in their suites, the possibilities of the league getting hold of hordes of new fans is tantalizing. But fans and the likes of Marlon Humphrey are getting tired of it.
