Marquinhos reveals what PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino told them at half time against FC Barcelona
Paris Saint Germain won the round of sixteen tie against FC Barcelona ok Wednesday night on an aggregate score of 5-2. The second leg ended 1-1 with Lionel Messi scoring a stunner of a goal and Kylian Mbappe scoring a penalty.

Paris Saint Germain defender Marquinhos has revealed that manager Mauricio Pochettino ripped into the players after a lacklustre performance in the first half. PSG players looked much better in the second half and saw the tie out.
In the first half had Barcelona been clinical could’ve easily scored more goals admitted Marquinhos. However the Brazilian has said that Pochettino demanded the players to be strong mentally and not let the match slip out of their control.
Mauricio Pochettino who is in charge of his first season of Paris Saint Germain now sees his team through to the quarter finals of the tournament. He previously reached the final of the UEFA Champions League with Tottenham Hotspur in 2018/19 wherein he lost against Liverpool.
We’re not going to give away all the secrets [of the talk],” Marquinhos said to RMC Sport.
