Marvel movies spark my imagination: Novak Djokovic

World No.1 Novak Djokovic has admitted about his love for Marvel movies. The Serb confessed his fascination with the superhero genre and said that Marvel characters like Thor, Captain America and Black Widow help in lighting a spark in his imagination.
However, Djokovic is not the only tennis star with an interesting choice when it comes to movies. Austrian tennis star, Dominic Thiem also revealed his affection for real-life documentaries. The US Open champion expressed his fondness towards football legend Bastian Schweinsteiger’s documentary and the Formula 1: Drive to Survive, which he recommends to everyone to watch.
I love watching movies with my kids: Novak Djokovic
In an interview with Sasa Ozmo, Djokovic expressed his love for watching movies with his kids in his spare time. The Serb claimed that he only uses his television to watch Sports. He also said that he deliberately stays away from watching the news on TV and prefers watching movies with his kids when he is with his family.
“I am really not watching TV almost at all,” Novak Djokovic said.
He goes on to say, “All the things I am interested in I can find on YouTube. TV is only for sports – I do not watch news at all. I do not know what to suggest – lately I have been watching kid movies with my children.”
Djokovic also shared how he and his wife love the marvel movies. According to the Serb, he and his wife Jelena are big-time Marvel movie fans and they watch these superhero movies when the kids aren’t around, “If they (his kids) are not around, then my wife and I usually watch some good documentaries, but here, yes – we enjoy Marvel movies as well, I am fond of superheroes.” Djokovic continued, “Things they can do that none of us can, it fires my imagination and I enjoy.”
I love sports documentaries: Dominic Thiem
When Ozmo asked Dominic Thiem about his favorite thing to watch. The Austrian was quick to answer sports documentaries. Thiem said he is fond of real-life sports documentaries and he recommends everyone to watch the same.
When asked specifically which ones, Thiem said he loved the recent Formula 1 documentary on Netflix as well as the life documentary of legendary German footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Thiem also said that the latter was an emotional rollercoaster for him. “I love sport documentaries obviously, I have seen Formula 1: Drive to Survive on Netflix and I recommend that to everybody,” Thiem said. “Also, the documentary on Bastian Schweinsteiger (German football player) was great, very emotional.”
