April 10 will see top-ranked middleweights Marvin Vettori and Darren Till go head to head. The number 5 ranked Marvin Vettori will be looking to keep his winning form intact when he takes on the number 4 ranked Englishman. The winner of the match can very well earn a shot at the title, and therefore a lot would be at stake, come the next month.

The two fighters have already begun a war of words and it looks like Marvin Vettori means only business and nothing else. He has recently claimed that all he ‘wants is Darren Till’s soul.

Speaking in an interview with Ariel Helwani of ESPN MMA, Till said, “I know you’re tough, I know you’re ugly. I know all these things. Just relax. We’re gonna fight on April 10 and you can beat me as much as you want then mate.“

“I’ll relax when I’m dead. For now, I just want your soul,” a riled-up Marvin Vettori replied on Instagram.

Marvin Vettori is coming off a war against Jack Hermansson at UFC Fight Night in December 5, 2020, which saw the fighters win the fight of the night performance. He is currently on a four match win streak. The Italian has never been knocked out in his 21 match career, so far.

Darren Till, on the other hand, is currently stuck in a rut. He is coming off a unanimous decision loss against number 1 ranked middleweight contender Robert Whittaker. The Scouse has just one win in his last four fights and will be looking forward to getting back to winning ways.
