WWE is gearing up for WrestleMania 41 in Sin City, heralding the dawn of a new era. The event will feature a stacked match card under the dazzling lights of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Excitement is at an all-time high as fans eagerly anticipate the spectacle. Reports suggest WWE is close to finalizing the host cities for WrestleMania 42 and 43.

According to PWInsider, New Orleans is the leading contender to host WrestleMania 42 in 2026. The city has previously hosted the grand event twice, in 2014 and 2018. Additionally, the report indicates that Indianapolis is the favorite to host WrestleMania 43 in 2027. If finalized, it would mark the city’s first WrestleMania and its next major WWE event after hosting the Royal Rumble earlier this year.

Speculation suggests that WWE might host a WrestleMania 41 kickoff event in New Orleans during Super Bowl weekend next month. The event could serve as the stage for the official announcement of next year’s WrestleMania. Additionally, Super Bowl LIX is set to take place at the Caesars Superdome, which is rumored to be the potential venue for WrestleMania 42.

Indianapolis has signed a multi-year agreement with WWE to host three major events: Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania. The first of these, the Royal Rumble, is set to take place in two weeks at Lucas Oil Stadium. With WrestleMania 43 already expected to be held at the same venue, it’s likely that SummerSlam 2028 will also take place in the city, concluding this monumental deal.

Nick Khan detailed how quickly WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas came together

Traditionally, WWE reveals the location of the following year’s WrestleMania before the current year’s show, much like the Super Bowl. However, the announcement for the Las Vegas event came much later than usual. Recently, WWE President Nick Khan shared details about how the decision to host the Grandest Stage of Them All in Las Vegas in 2025 came together.

Recently, WWE President Nick Khan appeared at the Preview Las Vegas event alongside Steve Hill, President of the LVCVA, to discuss WrestleMania 41. Khan revealed that WWE’s decision to host the event in Sin City came after the massive success of Super Bowl LVIII. He shared that when he and his team attended the Super Bowl, they found it grander than ever, which ultimately led to the last-minute decision to bring WrestleMania 41 to Las Vegas.

We were here for the Super Bowl—all of us. Anyone who was in Las Vegas at that time saw how big it was and how big it felt. I called and I said, ‘You know, that was big, and we all thought it would be big, but I think it exceeded our high expectations.

Earlier, rumors suggested that WWE was in talks with Minneapolis to host the show in 2025. However, in May 2024, WWE surprised fans by dropping the promotional announcement video for WrestleMania 41, set to Travis Scott’s hit track “FIEN.” With only days left until the event, it will be interesting to see how this highly anticipated show unfolds.
