Last night on Raw, fans witnessed the triumphant victory of Jey Uso. It was a huge moment for the latter, as his quest for a singles title ends with that. However, the events of last night also put Bron Breakker‘s future in uncertainty. This was because it was not expected that WWE would take the Intercontinental title off of him so early.

Speaking on the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer believes that this loss is a set-up for a potential babyface turn for him. He added that Breakker has already got the support of the fans.

Moreover, initially Breakker was a babyface when he started his main roster run. However, following the draft this year, WWE turned him into a heel. Besides, the Dawg of WWE has garnered a lot of appreciation for his babyface run in NXT. Therefore, it will not be a major issue for him to change his character on the main roster as well.

Furthermore, the former Intercontinental Champion is expected to face stars like Goldberg and John Cena in the future. Those matches are being considered the ‘passing the torch’ clashes. Hence, it is unquestionable that WWE views Breakker as a future main eventer.

Speaking on the Busted Open After Dark, Dreamer said that he never even thought the WWE would pull the trigger on taking away the Intercontinental Title off of Breakker so early. He explained that it likely that WWE is planning a main event push for the second-generation star. Therefore, taking away the mid-card title was a valid move.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll 100% lay money on the line that Bron Breakker will be a WWE World Champion before his career is done in the WWE. Maybe several times. I do think he's a main-eventer for WWE. By saying main-eventer means main event WrestleMania,

In that case, Dreamer claimed that he himself and a lot of fans must be excited to see the future of Bron Breakker in WWE.
