WWE has been on a roll lately. After spectacular events and packed shows, the company has been hotter than ever. As such, many stars are making a comeback. One such star, who was released by WWE a few years ago, has expressed an interest in coming back to the promotion after WWE announced the mega Royal Rumble announcement.
Former United States Champion Matt Cardona teased that he is fascinated with the plans of WWE for next year. He went on to clearly say that it is time for the “Indy God to return.” Cardona took a spin at the location of next year’s Royal Rumble, which is Indiana.
Besides, the 39-year-old bid adieu to WWE in 2014 after spending 14 years with the company. He has been working well with the indie promotion thereafter, hence earning the moniker ‘Indy God’. However, the Deathmatch King, regularly reacts to the happenings in WWE as well, especially the ones concerning his wife Chelsea Green.
Furthermore, the f.k.a. Zack Ryder might show up at the Royal Rumble next year. WWE has been collaborating with a bunch of other promotions lately. Therefore, Cardona’s return is now closer than ever. If it happens, it is going to be interesting to see his dynamics with fellow WWE stars, as he has a rich history with stars like Cody Rhodes and Shawn Spears.
Matt Cardona’s shenanigans received a reaction from Chelsea Green
Recently, Matt Cardona leaked a private conversation between him and Chelsea Green with the fans. The couple seems to be going against each other over fashion. The Indy God posted the screenshot of the chat with a caption highlighting the changes marriage brings to one’s life. The Hot Mess reacted to this with a one-word message on X.
She replied to the Deathmatch King’s post, asking for ‘SOS’. It seems like she is repulsed by the fashion choices of her husband. The couple seems to be fighting over the former WWE star asking for an earring hoop. However, the former women’s tag team quickly declined the request and asked him to be at ease.
Moreover, both stars went on to diss each other over their fashion, as Cardona said that Chelsea’s choice of JNCO jeans was a bad call. Green looks to defend herself over her choices as she goes on to claim that those kinds of jeans are in style. The wrestling couple is known for such playful arguments among the fans, and this was another example of such a move.
