Everyone believed Matt Kalil and former Miss Teen USA Haley O’Brien fit together perfectly, but their relationship wasn’t as seamless as it appeared. After seven years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce in 2022, citing irreconcilable differences.

All that can end now that Haley has revealed the reason why she and Matt didn’t work out. On a stream with the Swedish-American Twitch streamer Marlon Garcia, the 33-year-old revealed that she and Matt had intimacy issues they couldn’t work out, and left Haley in tears.

Speaking about her marriage, she admitted that they were going well but had a major pain point, which she refused to voice out loud. The Minnesotan typed it out on her phone and showed it to Garcia, who took a long gasp. When the streamer asked whether she was serious, she could only emphasize the point by planting her hands on the table and exclaiming, “Dead a**, for our whole marriage, dead a**!”

Though she didn’t voice it, she went on to add that Matt was part of the 0.01% of the population, and they weren’t able to copulate, and she ended up crying after attempting to do so. She didn’t explicitly reveal why they weren’t able to, but she did mention that the obstacle was two Coca-Cola cans stacked on top of each other and maybe a third. At this point, it’s not much hidden that what was Haley and Matt’s predicament.

Haley clarified that her intention wasn’t to make Matt look bad. She noted in the conversation that she still thinks highly of him and that they remain on good terms. The model later told TMZ that she didn’t mean to disrespect the time she and Matt shared, and the media had picked out a small portion of her and Garcia’s conversation, which made it feel like that.

Who is Matt Kalil?

The Minnesota Vikings drafted Matt Kalil, an offensive tackle from USC Trojans, in the 2012 NFL Draft as the fourth overall pick. With the Trojans, Kalil and the roster allowed an FBS-low amount of sacks (8) and furthermore he didn’t allow even one of those eight.

With the draft pick, he became the Vikings’ first offensive lineman drafted in the first round. He was also USC’s fifth OL drafted in the top five. He rose to fame in his first year, winning Pro Bowl honors after the original selection, Trent Williams, was injured in a bar fight.

In 2013, he faced off against his brother, Ryan Kalil, while their sister sang the national anthem. He played for the Vikings for three more seasons before his injury led to the team trading him. He was selected by the Carolina Panthers in 2017, where he, alongside his brother, became the third set of brothers to play in the same offensive line and the first to do so in 24 years.

Injury took him off the field once again, and soon he was released from Raleigh. He joined the Houston Texans as a practice member in 2019 before he was released. He has not geared up for any team in the league ever since.
