With wrestling, he also started many different ventures, launching his cannabis strain called Riddle OG. Following the success of his original strain, he decided to launch multiple cannabis strains. During his time in the Stamford-based company, he won many titles, including the U.S. title, and he also became a two-time Tag Team Champion with Randy Orton

Speaking of the journey after he left WWE, Riddle wrestled in Major League Wrestling and defeated Jacob Fatu at the Kings of Colosseum pay-per-view this year in January. The Original Bro also wrestled in New Japan Pro Wrestling and defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to become the new NJPW World Television Champion on February 23. However, on April 12, his 49-day title reign ended when Zack Sabre Jr. dethroned him at the Windy City Riot.

During the latest episode of MLW, Riddle announced that he was back in the company and boasted about his unbeaten status. He further stated that although he had won titles all around the world, the MLW World Heavyweight title had always eluded him.

I am back in MLW and I am still undefeated baby. But... but, I've won titles all around the world and there's still one title that eludes me bro, the MLW Heavyweight World Championship. Matt Riddle, the king of bros, will be in the Battle Riot and I am going to win it and become the new MLW World Heavyweight Champion bro.

The 38-year-old star announced his participation in the 40-man Battle Riot match, which would guarantee him a future shot at the title. Battle Riot VI will take place on June 1, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia. It will be interesting to see whether The Original Bro manages to win the Battle Riot by eliminating 39 other men.
