Between the losing Buffalo Bills and the winning Los Angeles Rams, 86 points were drawn out at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. It could undoubtedly be one of the best matches of the regular season—and a reason for any rival to be afraid of the might the Rams possess.
The performance put the Los Angeles Rams in clear contention to take home the Wild West division title. The Seattle Seahawks lead the race with eight wins, closely followed by the Rams with seven. The Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers are inching in on the top spot with six wins. With four games left in the league, every game is a must-win for all four teams.
The Los Angeles Rams, after a scintillating win last week, are facing division rivals San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night. The match is quite important for both the 49ers and the Rams with an opportunity to one-up and cement a better standing in the group. In their first meeting of the season, the Rams had defeated the 49ers.
The energy is loud and buzzing in Inglewood, as one would expect after a major victory over a top seed. Despite the Bills’ Californian quarterback recording six touchdowns—the first in the Super Bowl era to record three passing and receiving TDs in a single game—the Rams stood dominant throughout the game. Matthew Stafford, the Rams’ quarterback, delivered a solid performance throwing 23-of-30 for 320 yards and two touchdowns without any turnovers.
Head coach Sean McVay led the locker room with a speech praising the players and stating that they shouldn’t take the win for granted. He went on to praise Stafford, who himself had a note of motivation for his fellow players.
"Let's go fuckin' beat the Niners!"

Dan Orlovsky feels that the teams should be wary of Matthew Stafford’s Rams in the playoffs
ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky gave the San Francisco 49ers a warning—the Los Angeles Rams are no small opponent. Orlovsky admitted that he feels like the Rams could defeat anybody after their electrifying performance in Week 14.
Dan Orlovsky said during an appearance on the “Get Up” show that the Los Angeles Rams aren’t a team that they should wish to meet in the postseason. Orlovsky admitted that a healthy Rams offense consisting of Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Puka Nacua is a dangerous threat.
"When [the Rams] are healthy, they can win the whole thing. … If you're Detroit or if you're Philadelphia, you better pray that this offense doesn't get into the playoffs."

Dan Orlovsky had previously backed the Los Angeles Rams this season. After a divisional win over Arizona in early November, he admitted the same thing. Orlovsky then acknowledged that a healthy Rams could beat anybody in their conference. The Rams, who are playing three-division games in the next four weeks would hope that Orlovsky’s prediction transpires into reality.
