Kelly Stafford was thankful that her husband, Matthew Stafford, could stay with the Los Angeles Rams for a while longer and has put together an impressive season so far.
Those MVP-level performances helped the team clinch a playoff spot before they took on division rivals, the Seattle Seahawks, on Thursday Night at Lumen Field in Washington.
However, the Rams, as one of the top teams in the league, were not going to be content with any playoff spot. They knew they had to win the road game in order to be in a position to earn a 1st round bye.
For much of that game, Stafford and his Rams were in front. Then, halfway through the 4th quarter, the game started to slip away from his team.
Eventually, through some controversial moments, the Seattle Seahawks battled back to tie the game and send it to overtime. Then, after the Rams scored a touchdown to take a 7-point lead in overtime, Kelly Stafford noticed something that led her to post about it later on social media.
Never seen refs get this excited about a catch? Now the blown dead two-point conversion and illegal man downfield makes sense. Can I get these refs’ names?

The mother of four was clearly incensed by the visuals she was watching when former Rams star Cooper Kupp, now playing for the Seahawks, caught a pass while going out of bounds.

Mrs. Stafford felt that the officials’ excitement while confirming the catch was too obvious, leaving her wondering if they were happy that the Seahawks were about to win.
Kelly Stafford’s concerns echo those of Puka Nacua
Kelly Stafford noticed these actions of the officials from the stands, leaving her wondering if the officials were out to stop the Rams from continuing to dominate the NFC West.

It so happens that that division is the most competitive in the league this season, with the San Francisco 49ers also in the mix to win it and seal a 1st round bye.
The 12-3 Seahawks will face the 49ers on the final day of the season, whereas the Rams will face the Arizona Cardinals in another intra-division clash.
The former cheerleader may believe that the league intentionally manipulated the TNF showdown to ensure fan excitement remains until the last day of the regular season, an opinion that wide receiver Puka Nacua possibly also shares.
Can you say I was wrong? Appreciate you stripes for your contribution. Lol.

The 24-year-old shared this tweet mere minutes after the 37-38 loss. Considering how he has been criticizing referees of late, he was probably advised to delete the tweet, which he did, and apologized.
Kelly Stafford might not face a fine like Puka Nacua
Those comments on Adin Ross and N3on‘s live stream, as well as this deleted tweet, came to the NFL’s attention, and they decided it was best to reprimand the star wide receiver.
Earlier, Mike Garafolo confirmed that the league fined Puka Nacua. He will lose $25,000 from his next paycheck, which they think should be enough to stop criticizing the officials again.

Nacua was apologetic and mentioned that his tweet and earlier criticisms were borne out of frustrations. However, Kelly Stafford had almost a full day to think over everything, and still ended up posting the video on her Instagram.
Since she is not directly employed by the league or any of its affiliates, the NFL cannot fine or reprimand her in any manner. They cannot fine her husband, Matthew Stafford, either, as he was not the one criticizing the officiating.
Therefore, if such incidents continue, it is possible that the 36-year-old would continue to speak out about the NFL’s controversial officiating, or any other problem she stumbles upon on any platform she gets.
