Mark Cuban challenges Elon Musk to a debate about the policies of Harris and Trump

Dallas Mavericks minority owner Mark Cuban’s passion for basketball is well-documented, and beyond that, he is very vocal about matters of national interest, such as governance and politics. He is actively involved in the upcoming November general elections and has not hidden his support for the Democratic Party nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.

He posted a clip on social media where he discussed Kamala Harris and her policies, which received a response from billionaire Elon Musk. That interaction led the Mavs owner to openly challenge Musk to a debate about the policies of the two major candidates, Republican Donald Trump and Harris.

Hey @elonmusk !  1st.  Congrats on Polaris. Truly an amazing accomplishment...2nd.  If you want to directly ask me questions about any of @KamalaHarris policies and approach, I'm happy to tell you what I know. In exchange I'm hoping you will do the same about the Republican Candidate.

The November election has spilled into the NBA with players and coaches taking sides most especially Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr who gave a speech at the DNC convention. However, not all players have come out publicly to express their support with Angel Reese choosing to play the role of mobilizing voters to exercise their franchise.

Away from politics, Mark Cuban will once again be cheering on his beloved team when the season starts, as he was ever-present at the home games in the American Airlines Center. The Mavs will hope to return to the NBA Finals and avenge last season’s loss, possibly making Jayson Tatum’s prediction come true in the process.

Mark Cuban dislikes Donald Trump’s policies and not the candidate

Mark Cuban’s support for Kamala Harris has been unequivocal voicing his support for her candidacy on numerous occasions. For her opponent, he has spoken out against his policies, particularly the planned tariffs on imported goods into the US.

However, he has come out to set the record straight that he doesn’t hate the former US president. He once disclosed that he initially supported the Republican nominee but got thrown off by his policies.

I truly don’t hate him at all. I just think he was and would be a lousy president. If he wasn’t running, I would be happy to take up his dinner invitation from when he was in office.

The election slated for November 6 is expected to be one of the closest in history. With the NBA and the sporting world divided between the candidates, it only makes the race more competitive.
