Patrick Mahomes was slightly upset that Travis Kelce did not invite him to the Dallas Stars game on Saturday night. Well, the all-pro tight end more than made up for the sudden detour when the dynamic Kansas City Chiefs duo attended the Dallas Mavericks game the following day.

On Sunday night, the third NBA Western Conference Finals game between the Mavs and the Minnesota Timberwolves took place at American Airlines Center in Dallas, both Mahomes and Kelce were present courtside. They were joined by Patrick’s wife Brittany Mahomes and the Chiefs’ new receiver Hollywood Brown.

The Mavs X account (formerly Twitter) gave a cheeky shoutout to Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift who was in Portugal. They shared a short clip of the Chiefs contingent being introduced to the fans.

Social media reacted to the Mavericks’ social media account trolling Travis Kelce

The 34-year-old shocked fans by attending the Stars game. He was predicted to join Swift in Europe while she performed her greatest hits at the Eras Tour concert.

Several gossip outlets claimed that Kelce had set his calendar in a manner that would allow him to spend time with Swift and still be available for Chiefs training sessions. Nobody foresaw that he would make a layover in Dallas of all places.

Regardless, he joined Patrick Mahomes and the crew for the Mavs game which they won taking a 3-0 lead in the series. However, they also won social media with their subtle troll on Travis Kelce.

After the Mavs game wrapped up, their star player Luka Doncic was headed back to the dressing room with cheers coming from the stands. He entered the tunnel where Kelce stood to congratulate the Slovenian.

The 9-time Pro Bowler leaned forward and gave a pat on the back of Doncic as he walked off to the locker to celebrate the win.

It’s certainly baffling that Kelce missed two back-to-back Eras Tour legs. First, he was a no-show in Sweden and now he skipped Portugal. In his defense, he has been busy shooting for his new horror TV Show along with participating in the Chiefs OTAs. So, attending the Stars and Mavs games was a nice change of pace.
