Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje fought like two warriors in the BMF title bout at UFC 300. Both the fighters unleashed everything they had on each other for five brutal rounds. Holloway won the fight via KO and showed massive respect towards his opponent. Additionally, the fighter went home with a whopping $600 bonus prize and swelled-up legs.
Max Holloway recently spoke about his recovery period following the fight in an interview with The Pat McAfee. The boxer also spoke of Gaethje’s tremendous strength and his vicious leg kicks.

Going into UFC 300, Holloway was the underdog given he was moving up a division. However, the ‘Blessed’ put on a show and proved why he is one of the best UFC fighters ever. Holloway largely dominated the fight and ultimately got the knockout in the very last minute of the fifth and final round.
Justin Gaethje has gained a reputation for his violent fighting approach and remarkable hitting power. Numerous fighters, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, have highlighted this aspect when discussing Gaethje’s past performances. Surely, Holloway had a similar experience too after going five rounds with the ‘Highlight’.

The Max Holloway vs. Justin Gaethje fight got the FOTN award bonus and the last 10 seconds looked like straight from a Hollywood action movie. Holloway, who was already up on all scorecards, gestured for Gaethje to square up in the middle of the octagon. After that, both fighters started swinging for the fences and Gaethje got caught and dropped mercilessly on the canvas.
After the fight, Gaethje made a tweet for his fans and followers giving an update about his condition.

The fighter talked about spending time with his family and congratulated Holloway for his win and bonus prize.
