As the Las Vegas Raiders missed the playoffs, Maxx Crosby has shifted his attention towards his hometown team, Detroit Lions, whom he grew up supporting but only to see them thriving now that he is in the NFL. And it seems the star defensive end has certain complaints from them.
Born in Michigan, Crosby grew up cheering for the blue and silver and didn’t leave their side even when they hit the lowest by going 0-16 in 2008. The only moment of joy he had as a Lions fan was watching them win the NFC North and one playoff victory but after that, until 2010, he saw them struggling to win even seven games in a season.
But now, the Lions appear to be riding high on success as they are a single victory away from making their second consecutive NFC Championship game appearance in the franchise history, under head coach Dan Campbell and quarterback Jared Goff. However, Crosby finds it bittersweet to see how far they have come now when he’s playing for another team, as he shared on Good Morning Football.

It’s an emotional moment for every Lions’ fan, who has been rooting for the team from the beginning and now the team has the best chance to bring home a Super Bowl trophy after finishing the season with a 15-2 record and earning the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Maxx Crosby expresses admiration for hometown Lions and Dan Campbell
Talking about his hometown team and their journey thus far has made many believe the four-time Pro Bowler is seeking a trade to Detroit. In his appearance on Good Morning Football, he also expressed his great admiration for Campbell as well as the Lions, standing as the best team in the conference.
It’s no secret that Crosby is getting frustrated with the Raiders, not for the struggling quarterback and now head coach positions but for their failure to qualify for the playoffs for the past three seasons. Perhaps, Crosby may find his future lies in reuniting with the team he grew up supporting.
