Donald Trump just had a day to forget as he narrowly escaped a bullet. The assassination attempt took place at a gathering in Pennsylvania when a shooter attempted to take the life of the former President with a rifle. Now with the Presidential candidate safe, millions have poured out their support, including Las Vegas Raiders’ star Maxx Crosby.

The stud pass rusher took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account and posted a photograph of him sitting alongside Donald Trump, highlighted with three goat emojis. His public showcase of support was evident as his fans chimed in to laud the three-time Pro Bowler for standing with what he felt was right. Donald Trump, slightly leaning into the microphone, saved him by the whiskers as the bullet grazed the right side of his face and his ear.

The shooter took position on top of a building approximately 150 yards from the podium and fired multiple shots. The first one whisked past Trump. While another resulted in the death of a supporter. Two more ended up injuring two people.

Maxx Crosby preparing for first full season under new head coach Antonio Pierce

Last season was nothing but a lost cause for the Las Vegas Raiders. Not only did they have to change coach’s mid-season, but they also were running out of potential candidates. However, Maxx Crosby put his foot down and gave an ultimatum. The Raiders did not want to upset their star pass rusher.

But he was not alone as several other players chimed in to force the Raiders to promote Antonio Pierce from the interim head coaching role to that of the official head coach. Now with that settled, Pierce has taken the time to assemble a good coaching staff. That and the work of new GM Tom Telesco has helped the Raiders make some positive additions to their squad.

Suggesting that the team can finally continue the way they ended their season. Winning 3 out of their last 5 games, one of which came against the eventual Super Bowl winners. That was the direction Maxx Crosby and his teammates wanted to head into this season under Antonio Pierce.
