Maxx Crosby’s “not here to rebuild” comments spark trade rumors days after Davante Adams joined Jets
Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby's one-team policy is being challenged due to bad results which may lead to his exit in the future.

In the aftermath of Davante Adams’ trade to the Jets, it appears that Maxx Crosby may be thinking along the same route. The all-pro pass rusher has been the face of the Raiders franchise for the last few years. Crosby falls into that 27-year-old, one-team player category with only one playoff appearance in their entire career, but nothing is permanent.
Following a 2-4 start to the season and a bottom-five quarterback core consisting of journeyman Gardner Minshew and fourth-round pick Aidan O’Connell, the Raiders are on course for a repeat of the 2023 season. As much as players want to prove their loyalty to and for their teams—especially those who drafted them—they want to win trophies, but a continuous rebuilding process will test anyone’s patience.
During a recent interview from the locker room, Crosby hinted at perhaps contemplating a move.
Could Maxx Crosby be on the move soon? ?

“I’m not here to rebuild, I’m here to win. Whatever that means… but I’m here to win now. WHEREVER I’M GONNA BE, I’m gonna be here to win, so…”

Insider floats the idea of a possible destination for Maxx Crosby
If the Pro Bowl edge rusher becomes available, then a whole host team would line up to take him off the Raiders roster. One of them has been poking around for some time, waiting for the pieces to fall into place.
ESPN’s Pat McAfee believes the Detroit Lions are the interested party and have been since the off-season.

Adams became the first star casualty, and Crosby might be thinking along the same lines. Owner Mark Davis, on the other hand, told the reporters that the pass rusher would not be going anywhere.
It’s not a secret that the Lions are looking for a top-linebacker as a replacement for injured Aidan Hutchinson. Reports suggest they are in contact with the Haason Reddick of Jets apart from harboring interests in Crosby.
