The UFC two-division champion Amanda Nunes proved once again that there is no one to match the level of her fighting on the entire UFC roster. Nunes was facing Megan Anderson in the co-main event of UFC 259 putting her featherweight title on the line.

Many people believed that Megan Anderson will be the real test for ‘The Lioness’ as she is the real featherweight but Nunes showed the world why he is the two-division champion and G.O.A.T of women’s division.

She made Anderson tape in the very first round of the match with an armbar triangle that too in just 2 minutes. In the post UFC 259 press conference Megan Anderson talks about it, she says,

“In all my training camp, that position would always come out, I take my training partner down and that position was always there. When I saw the opportunity tonight I take it. I saw she was hurt, but, tonight, my strategy was finishing her on the floor.”

“I have a training partner the same size as her. The whole time I trained with him. He has the same kind of style too, so that was very… I won’t say easy because she’s a very tough opponent, she knows how to use very well her reach. I feel like I was too fast for her and I was able to connect first.”

The Brazilian Amanda Nunes is said to be defending her next title in bantamweight but the promotion is yet to announce. Amanda also fell more comfortable in Featherweight and for cutting back to Bantamweight she will need some more time.

Nunes says, “I feel more powerful and the diet is better for me at featherweight, I feel really comfortable in this weight class. I just wanna keep doing this, keep defending my belts and see what happens in the future,”

“So many things are gonna happen from now on so I wanna take a chance to step back a little bit to see what’s going to happen, to see my next step. But I do wanna do something when I retire.”

“I wanna be involved,  wanna be around of the UFC for sure, get a job here maybe. Let’s see. It’s gonna be my next job after I’m done with this.”
