The tournament has now progressed into the semi-finals and in what is expected to be an entertaining contest in the men’s beach volleyball, ROC, comprising of Viacheslav Krasilnikov and Oleg Stoyanovskiy, will take on Qatar’s pair of
Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
ROC vs Qatar Match Preview
Qatar has been sensational throughout the tournament. Such has been the domination of Tijan and Younousse that they have not lost a single match at the Tokyo Olympics and are being counted as the firm favorites to win the gold this time around.
The way they thrashed America in the quarter-final even after starting poorly, suggests that have what it takes at the highest level. In fact, Qatar has lost just one set in Tokyo and that came in the quarter-final. However, they kept their cool and won the next two sets to make their way into the final 4.
On the other hand, ROC started their campaign with a defeat against Latvia, but have managed to script three wins back to back to make their way into the semis. Moreover, a win against the strong German unit would have given them a lot of confidence.
Tokyo Olympics Men’s Beach Volleyball: ROS vs Qatar Match Venue and Timings
This quarter-final encounter between ROC and Qatar will take place on 5th August 2021. The match will be played in Shiokaze Park, located in Tokyo.

ROC vs Qatar Match Prediction
ROC units have performed consistently for a long period of time in various tournaments. However, the duo from Qatar has outshined everyone in Tokyo this year. ROC will give a strong fight, but the odds are overwhelmingly in the favor of Tijan and Younousse who are expected to win without much hassle.
