The Blueprint did not hold back at all while silencing a reporter during the All In post-show press conference.

Media scrums can get weird real quick, especially if there’s an AEW tag attached with them. The one from two years ago following All Out pay-per-view featuring CM Punk has had ripple effects on the industry. But this time around, it didn’t lead to any backstage scuffle. Instead, after last night’s high of All In, focus shifted towards the post-show presser. Mercedes Mone was in the hot seat.

A reporter casually asked the AEW TBS Champion about her divorce. Even before he could get the question in, Mone was getting a bit uncomfortable. She outright told the media correspondent that she wasn’t going to date him. The reporter told her that he’s been married for nine years. In response, Mercedes Mone congratulated him in a cheeky cadence.

Then came in the actual question he wanted to ask. The reporter wondered if there’s any particular advice Mone would’ve liked to give to someone who’s dealing with the grief of separation or a divorce. But Mercedes, who was visibly not in a mood to open up on that topic, asked the reporter why he made such a query—is it because he’s trying something on his wife? The entire sequence came off a tad uneasy for everyone.

Ahh god......What are you gonna ask me? I'm not going to date you.

The netizens have since bashed the reporter-in-question for unnecessarily trying to ruffle Mone’s personal space at the presser. Earlier this month, the Mandalorian actress revealed that she’s filed for divorce from Sarath Ton.

They’re on the cusp of officially ending an eight-year-long marriage once the legal formalities are done. The CEO said that it was years in the making and not something that came right off the bat. She confirmed that her split with Ton was amicable.

Mercedes Mone denies Britt Baker a sniff of glory at AEW All In

Before finding herself in a precarious situation at the post-show presser, Mercedes Mone had a successful outing at the Wembley Stadium. She silenced Britt Baker and slammed the door shut on her aspirations of becoming the new AEW TBS Champion.

Their match wasn’t the best on the card based on what the fans felt. However, Mone has all the tools needed to make amends for what went wrong in London. She’s still the champ and would want to believe it’s only upwards from here.

There’s a ton of unheralded names on the women’s roster in AEW keen on making a splash. They’re expected to go hard at Mercedes, who’ll look to extend her title reign as much as she can. The Boss reportedly has some creative pull in the company, and it’d be interesting to see who dares to step up to her next.
