The Miami Heat have proved time and again how handy they can be during the testing times. Last season, the team ranked #5 in the playoff and still managed to get to finals. Miami Heat gave a tough time to Los Angeles Lakers despite being shorthanded. The Miami Heat registered their latest victory against the Boston Celtics in an absolute huge team performance. As the Boston Celtics struggled offensively without Jaylen Brown, Miami Heat rose to the opportunity with great defense. The Eastern Conference has equally been a roller coaster of events as that in the West. Many teams including the Miami Heat have toppled with their remaining chances to strengthen their position for the playoffs.

Miami Heat went all out against the Boston Celtics earlier today. A 6-point victory by Miami has now forced Celtics to a probable play-in. There was no stopping Jimmy Butler today. The 31-YO finished his night with 26-points and 11 assists to get his side a crucial victory. Trevor Ariza scored 19-points while Bam Adebayo and Duncan Robinson scored 20+ respectively. More importantly the team game for the Miami Heat was on point. The Boston Celtics could not keep with Miami’s momentum. As they lacked Jaylen Brown, it was all on Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker to lead their team. Tatum finished with 29 points while Evan Fournier had 30-points.

The Boston Celtics made huge efforts to make a comeback. However, it was not enough to extinguish the Miami Heat fiery start. Jimmy Butler, the talisman, made some huge plays tonight. JB handled the ball well while the team game was on point. Every player at Heat made space and Butler was given to iso against defender. In the meanwhile, there were multiple off the ball screens and the free man cut towards the ring. The patient Jimmy Butler dished the pass for easy buckets. Butler was also handy on the defense. With his huge steal numbers, he would finish as the first Miami Heat player to average high steal numbers by the end of regular season.

Boston coach Brad Stevens highlighted the issues with the team. He expressed, “When we’re completely engaged, we’re a good basketball team. When we’re not, we’re not even close to being able to compete with anybody, let alone a team like Miami.” While Miami and Boston will face each other again at TD Garden, Celtics will look to take a possible revenge against their loss today.
