Miami Heat hits big time on Los Angeles Lakers on their Twitter handle

Jimmy Butler
The Miami Heat have got a better mid-season than any other team in the league. They even got their revenge on the Los Angeles Lakers after their previous encounter. They defeated the defending champions by 6 points and that has been the main reason around a great controversial tweet by the franchise. Both the teams played the finals last season. However, LA Lakers got the better of the Miami Heat and ended up getting their 17th title in franchise history. As injury strolled over the champions, Miami Heat took the advantage and crushed over a big scar from the past. However, their recent tweet after the win has fired up the rivalry even more.
The Miami Heat and Lakers were entangled in a tough competition today. The game was intense battle as both the teams continuously took lead back to back. The Miami initially took advantage while Lakers regained the lead as the 2nd half closed by. The Heat once again made up the deficit this time and stretched it till the end. Despite the fact the Lakers closed in the 4th quarter, Bam Adebayo made sure they did not surpass him. Jimmy Butler ended his night with 28-points. He shared the same score with Lakers counterpart Caldwell-Pope. Andre Drummond put up his first double-double game as a Laker with 12 rebounds and 15 points.
Miami Heat have the last laugh
The Miami Heat twitter page made a post about their win against the Lakers. It was captioned, “IF WE WOULDA BEEN HEALTHY!…”. This post was a clear cut mocking on LeBron James and Anthony Davis who are out of the squad with injuries. The Lakers’ season has been severely hampered with the injury constraints. Both of their main players are out and Laker are sufficing with their bench. However, both the players will be back soon.
The Miami Heat have turned their season around massively this year. After a slow start, they have converted every trailing game to win in the mid-season matches. It has been roughly 6-months since the Finals played between both the teams and both of them have incredibly dipped in terms of progress. The Lakers are very pathetically shorthanded. This is reflecting on their standing. Hopefully the defending champions hold on until their reinforcement arrives.
