Marc Anthony has long been a fan of tennis sensation Novak Djokovic, even going to the Miami Open to see him in action. He was also joined by his wife, Nadia Ferreira as the two spent some quality time together. The American actor’s evening took a turn when he got to meet his idol in person.

Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira hit Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Sunday for the sixth day of the Miami Open. The two were spotted deeply indulging with each other, giving the cameras PDA filled pictures.

One of the snaps also caught Anthony kissing Ferreira’s hand, who stunned the fellow spectators with her outfit matched with a Birkin. The model donned a swirly beige top with a similar shade skirt over a pleated fabric, meanwhile, the Grammy award-winning singer went casual in a black jacket, blue jeans, and brown sneakers. Allegedly, the two were the tennis star‘s guests who invited them to watch him compete.

The couple arrived on time to watch Camilo Ugo Carabelli and Novak Djokovic. Post the match, Anthony was spotted meeting the latter while Ferreira also joined them. The group seemed to be in high spirits, especially considering Djokovic beat Carabelli with 6-1 and 7-6. Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira attended another match between Djokovic and Australian tennis player Rinky Hijikata. 

They took their usual seats on the stands to watch their friend come out victorious once again. Anthony later joined Djokovic on the court to chat and take pictures.

Throughout the match, the fans noted the couple’s enthusiasm while watching the matches, although it mostly credited to the winning tennis player. Notably, this was not Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira’s first meeting with Novak Djokovic.

Prior to the commencement of the Miami Open 2025, the tennis star threw a lavish party for his friend’s birthday. The guest list was a star-studded affair, also including Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira.

Novak Djokovic knows how to welcome his guests who were wholeheartedly cheering for him from the stands. Marc Anthony and his wife Nadia Ferreira watched the tennis legend end the match against Rinky Hijikata within two sets.

The cameras captured the two beaming with joy while Djokovic was competing. At the end of the game, the Serbian tennis athlete addressed the audience before giving Marc Anthony a shoutout. He expressed his pleasure seeing him in the stands, receiving cheers from the audience and the actor himself.

The Miami Open Instagram account also posted pictures of the two meeting each other on the field. The acquaintance was assuredly considered ‘legendary’ by every tennis fan. Some time later, Anthony approached Djokovic, who greeted him with a hug.

He also presented the actor with his jersey and signed it, much to his delight. Anthony was also heard congratulating Djokovic for the “thrilling” match. The two proceeded to pose for the cameras with the former seemingly starstruck.

While Anthony lived his fan moment with Djokovic, his wife Nadia Ferreira stood by him. The couple donned matching colors, muted for the occasion. Anthony wore jeans, a white button-up, and a brown jacket. Meanwhile, Ferreira chose brown bell-bottomed pants with matching heels and a white button-up.
