Trevon Diggs is back as Micah Parsons‘ teammate at the Green Bay Packers after the Dallas Cowboys released the star cornerback with a game left in their regular season. His move to Wisconsin was as many had expected, considering the two defensive stars are close friends and also share the same agent, David Mulugheta.

This is the same agent whom Jerry Jones seemingly belittled during Parsons’ contract negotiations before engaging in trade conversations with the Packers.

Now, a similar pattern has followed after Trevon Diggs’ release. Some media members closely associated with the Dallas Cowboys have started to throw out narratives on how the franchise did itself a world of good by releasing their former defensive back.

Remarks, including his declining production, the attitude issues that have surfaced over the past couple of years, and his work ethic, have found themselves on the internet. One of them caught the attention of Micah Parsons.

I feel like what point is there in trying to publicly disrespect someone? He’s not representing the star anymore, just give the man a farewell and wish him the best. I don’t know why everything has to be negative every time a break-up happens! He’s in a better situation rn, trust me! Bro’s gonna be great again!

The star pass rusher felt his teammate was being needlessly disrespected even though he is no longer part of the Dallas Cowboys. The Penn State star completed his rant with a suggestion that Trevon Diggs will be back to his best.

Micah Parsons ensured Trevon Diggs was comfortable in Green Bay

Trevon Diggs is joining the Green Bay Packers with just one regular season left. They will be playing in the postseason, but even then, it is not enough time for the cornerback to invest in a property or buy a car.

He said I can crash at his place, and he said I can have one of his cars too.

Trevon Diggs told reporters

The 27-year-old had a smile on his face while saying this, proving that their bond is deeper than one might believe. For him to get a place to stay until the end of the season is proof of their camaraderie.

Then, to get a car to drive to work and back was also a great gesture. Naturally, had Micah Parsons been playing, Diggs would have traveled shotgun in the pass rusher’s car to work.

But since he is confined to his house after undergoing surgery for his torn ACL, the 26-year-old can only watch from home as his newest teammate goes to work and proves that he can be a valuable asset for the Packers.

Trevon Diggs to wear No. 28 for Packers

Now that Trevon Diggs has found a place to stay and has a mode of transportation, his mind has quickly shifted to what he has to do for his new team. A couple of practices are not enough to get to grips with a completely different scheme. That is probably why the Packers are going to take it slow this week.

It will be more of a practice run for the Alabama star as he will need those reps to get to grips with their system. As media coverage of his joining the franchise was at an all-time high, footage from their practice made its way to social media.

Trevon Diggs was seen practicing in a No. 28 jersey. It so happens that starting middle linebacker Quay Walker owns the No. 7 jersey and is not going to give it to someone who is with them at best for a few weeks.

This means that even if the cornerback signs with them past next season, Diggs will have to figure out what other number he will be comfortable wearing.
