The Dallas Cowboys are now the sixth team in search of their next head coach. Mike McCarthy did not like the length of the new contract Jerry Jones offered him, which meant his time with the franchise is over. That brings the onus on to who Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons will listen to next season.
Parsons, in particular, came into the limelight after he apparently blamed Mike McCarthy for some of their struggles. He later clarified that the media had taken his words out of context. But by then, it was evident that the star pass rusher did not see eye to eye with his head coach.
Later on, he apologized after he and McCarthy apparently had a heart-to-heart conversation. He clarified that he threw his HC under the bus as he was angry. Now that he will move on to another head coach, he took to his podcast, The Edge with Micah Parsons, to give his take on the recent proceedings in the Cowboys building.

Micah Parsons seemed to have taken a complete U-turn on his opinion of Mike McCarthy. Him praising his former HC after he was let go might be a bit too late. But now, he is looking forward to what next season brings.
Micah Parsons curious to see life after Mike McCarthy
With Mike McCarthy out of the building, the focus now shifts to who Jerry Jones will hire as the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. More importantly, the incoming coach will get a team with some star players as well as some glaring holes to fill. In light of that, Micah Parsons added this on his podcast.
The three-time All-Pro added that he trusts owner and GM Jerry Jones to hire the right person for the job. He also understands that McCarthy’s exit means they will have an entire new coaching staff. That means a new system will be in place.
The 25-year-old is also aware that it could have an impact on players. The new head coach could move some players out of the Cowboys based on what he wants. However, he was excited that former players such as Deion Sanders and Jason Witten have been rumored to be in the running.
