Micah Parsons seems to have quite a reaction to the honorary moment between Dan Campbell and Kevin O’Connell when the former affirmed his trust in the latter for succeeding in the playoffs. Unfortunately, things didn’t as either of them planned for their respective things, and the Dallas Cowboys star couldn’t help but laugh.
Despite having the best season and real chances of ending the everlasting Super Bowl draught, the Detroit Lions sustained a compromising defeat at the hands of Washington Commanders. However, as disastrous as the loss was for them, it equipped the Cowboys to receive an unwanted record of the longest conference championship appearance draught in the entire NFC.
Yet, the star linebacker decided to poke fun at Campbell’s bold prediction made in the final week of the regular season after the dominating victory of the Minnesota Vikings. As the game concluded, he gave some words of confidence to the Vikings head coach, saying, “See you in two weeks.”
The Cowboys pass rusher shared a trolling post by Bleacher Report’s Gridiron, being among the many social media outlets that trolled the Lions head coach on the internet, which shared Campbell’s pictures with O’Connell from the Week 18 game. “I guess they meant that they would see each other in Cancún,” read the caption of the tweet.

Parsons made his reaction loud and clear as he flooded laughing emojis as captions while reposting it from his official X. The humourous post by B/R Gridiron quickly went viral, reaching over five million views.
Dan Campbell takes responsibility after Lions’ heartbreaking playoff loss to Commanders
Heading into the Divisional round game against the Commanders, Campbell was utterly confidence in his team’s capability to pull off a victory especially given they had a home-field advantage. However, as they were overpowered by the Commanders’ defense and failed to stop rookie star Jayden Daniels, Campbell’s dreams were crushed like every Detroit fan.
“They earned that win and we didn’t,” admitted Campbell in the post-game press conference.
Like a true leader, Campbell took the entire responsibility for the loss instead of pointing fingers at his players, stating that he fell short of getting the team prepared for the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl. Nonetheless, the team now looks forward to starting from the beginning as they head towards the offseason.
