Skip Bayless has always criticized Micah Parsons' inability to impact games despite him leading his team in sacks every season.

- Micah Parsons responded angrily to Skip Bayless' criticisms regarding his performance and contract after being traded to the Packers.
- Parsons expressed confidence in his abilities, challenging Bayless to play his position and claiming he could do it better.
- He aims for a Week 3 return from injury, motivated to prove his critics wrong and help the Packers succeed.
Ever since Micah Parsons started wearing a Dallas Cowboys jersey, he has been revered as one of the best pass rushers to come from college in the past few years.
The way he goes after quarterbacks is a treat to watch, and his numbers back up claims of him being one of the best at his position. This past season, the first time he was not wearing the Star on his helmet, he was on pace to have possibly his best campaign to date.
If not for that season-ending ACL tear he suffered while playing against the Denver Broncos in Week 15, maybe he could have even given eventual sack record holder and close friend Myles Garrett some competition.
Those numbers would generally lead any football fanatic to rave about the Penn State alum. However, someone does not, and Micah Parsons had some choice words for that individual.
They want to rage-bait me. But they won’t say that to my face… Like they tell you how to play the game. Come play my position, Skip. Cause I can do what you do. I do it better sometimes.
Micah Parson said on “Open Thoughts” podcast
This was the 26-year-old’s response when Funny Marco played a clip of Skip Bayless going off on the pass rusher after his trade to the Packers. Parsons was visibly irked by the analyst’s comments.

The Packers star felt that he did a good job in front of a microphone, but is sure that the 74-year-old cannot do what he does on the field.
Watching Skip Bayless’ criticism ticked off Micah Parsons
Micah Parsons is no stranger to getting criticized by analysts and others in the media. But in this instance, he was ticked off when watching the clip of Skip Bayless calling out his lack of ability to play his position well.

Micah Parsons gone to Green Bay. And my gut reaction, as you might guess, is good riddance. And good luck, Green Bay. Because you just overpaid for the overhyped Micah Parsons, who will never be able to live up to that money, especially in Green Bay, where I don’t think he’ll ever be happy living.
Skip Bayless said on his X page
This video came out on the day the Pennsylvania native was traded away from the Dallas Cowboys. Essentially, the analyst was happy that Jerry Jones probably figured out what Bayless and many others have been saying about Parsons.
This rant was a direct shot at both the 5-time Pro Bowler’s ability to play the game and also the massive contract he signed when he arrived in Wisconsin. No wonder Parsons went after Bayless.
Micah Parsons targets Week 3 return
Usually, professional athletes use any motivation they can to perform at their best. Even though he is months away from playing football again, this video might push Micah Parsons to recover properly so that he can prove Skip Bayless wrong.
So far, they say I’m flying, so whatever that means. There’s a timing standpoint they want, but I don’t think I’ll be on IR to start the season. I think lofty, I’d be saying Week 1. But, realistically, probably like Week 3 or Week 4.
Micah Parsons told Matt Schneidman
This was the former 12th overall pick’s realistic vision of when he can play. Even though he is ‘flying’ through his recovery, he wants to make sure he is ready before going back out on the field.

Knowing how his debut season ended, Parsons will be looking to be back at his best and push the Packers towards a Super Bowl so that he can silence his critics for good.
