‘Upset’ Micah Parsons hits back at teammate Malik Hooker for allegedly portraying him as ‘non-serious’ about the Cowboys: “I can point out a lot of other things”
Parsons did not waste much time replying to Hooker, asking him that he could have confronted him about the running game face to face.

Micah Parsons was quick to reply after Malik Hooker called him out for not focusing on improving his run game. The Dallas Cowboys All-Pro pass rusher’s words hinted that he was a little disappointed in his veteran teammate.
The situation at Arlington is already starting to escalate even though the teams haven’t even begun their offseason training camps. Let alone the new season, which is still three months away.
One major example of the Cowboys’ unstable locker room picture would be the deteriorating relationship between head coach Mike McCarthy and owner Jerry Jones. Another one is Jones’ reluctance to pay quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver CeeDee Lamb.
Those are just the tip of the icebergs that peered out through the vast unstable seas of the Cowboys. Malik Hooker‘s recent comments on linebacker Micah Parsons have created another crevice that could form into a crater if left unchecked.
The 3 time Pro Bowler sent out a fiery tweet (now deleted), hinting at his disappointment with Hooker.
Just wish you said this to me but instead on some podcast! And you got my number family! @MalikHooker24 and you my locker mate! So, you coulda said this any day! And you do realize I shoot the podcast on our off day! Why ain’t we talking about everyone's preparations and focus leading up to the game week? I mean I can point out a lot of other things but I'm just not!Micah Parsons said per Dallas Morning News
I’ve genuinely never hated a generational player who plays for my own team so much it’s actually impressive how immature Micah is pic.twitter.com/UsuXbIUYkA

What did Malik Hooker say that made Micah Parsons angry?
Both Hooker and Parsons joined the Cowboys in 2021. The 28-year-old signed with the Dallas team after spending three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. Parsons, on the other hand, was the Cowboys’ 12th overall pick in the draft.
Since then, the pair have formed an excellent partnership in the defense. However, unlike Hooker, whose priority has always been training when the league’s on a break, Parsons prefers to do things his way.
The Penn State graduate spent a chunk of his time building his brand. Besides being an All-Pro pass rusher, Parsons became a successful podcast host for Bleacher Report and agreed to become the President of BR/Gridiron.
Hooker advised him to focus more on improving his pass-rushing skills compared to off-field activities.
My advice for Micah would be: just know we’re all right and [being] where your feet are. Because if [we’re at work, and] the run game’s terrible, but you’re doing a podcast every week and you know the run game is terrible, then what are you really caring about? [Are] you caring about the crowd that’s watching your podcast? Or caring about the success of our team and the Super Bowl that we’re trying to reach?Malik Hooker told Keyshawn Johnson on FOX’s All Facts No Brakes podcast on Friday

Parsons already has a lot on his plate. Besides organizing youth training camps, he is also due a contract extension which would make him the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL. Everything depends on how the Cowboys handle the 2024 season.
