Star running back Saquon Barkley received an odd welcome from the New York fans when he entered the MetLife stadium for a match against his former team, the New York Giants. After the game concluded with a 28-3 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles, fans were more must with Barkley rather than the Giants– which compelled Micah Parsons to react.
Barkley dominated the entire field during the Sunday Night Football match with many explosive plays– one of which (dangerous play) got him fined more than $40,000. He also broke his rushing record by posting 176 yards, leading his team to a dominating 28-3 victory.
While the Eagles fans were celebrating him, the Giants fans were seen burning his t-shirt, after heavily booing when he entered the stadium. Seeing the hatred for the two-time Pro Bowler, the Dallas Cowboys star Parsons slammed the fans and told them to blame General Manager Joe Schoen, who forced Barkley out for ‘petty money.’
"Are y'all just as delusional as the GM?"

Parsons urged the New York fans to recall the Hard Knock video of Schoen and owner John Mara, where the General Manager said, ‘We don’t know if we want to give him this money?’ As a result, the moment Barkley entered free agency, the Eagles acquired him with a lucrative number.
Micah Parsons blamed Giants management for Saquon Barkley’s departure
While slamming the fans, the star linebacker also criticized the Giants for “playing around” with the money that the former Rookie of the Year, well deserved. Barkley was said to be the best player on the Giants’ roster and they let him go believing he wouldn’t be valuable elsewhere also.
Barkley also has spoken about his infamous departure from the Giants, sharing he felt quite disrespected within the organization, especially by the front office which left him with no other options than to enter the free agency market. The Giants are sitting at a bizarre 2-5 record following week 7 poor loss and need a desperate victory next week to have any hope for the playoffs.
