Looks like the Dallas Cowboys fans have had enough of the team’s hollow promises of winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy. That’s why, when Micah Parsons expressed his confidence in the team’s ability to do so, despite the woes and front-office disasters of this season, fans didn’t hold back from trolling him.
When the Cowboys got eliminated in the opening game of playoffs last season despite winning the NFC East title at a 12-3 record, several shortcomings within the team were brought to light. However, owner Jerry Jones decided to turn a blind eye and made some more questionable decisions, including acquiring Ezekiel Elliott after letting go of Derrick Henry– who posted his best season with the Baltimore Ravens.
The 82-year-old owner continues to walk the same path as he it looks like he will retain Mike McCarthy for another season. Yet, the star linebacker expressed unwavering optimism about the team’s future, confidently predicting that his team will win the Super Bowl next season in the recent episode of his Edge with Micah Parsons podcast.

As the 2024 regular season has concluded and the offseason approaches, the Cowboys face crucial decisions regarding free agency and draft picks that could shape their chances for success in 2025 as the linebacker predicted.
Fan reaction to Micah Parsons’ bold prediction to win the Super Bowl next season
While the three-time Pro Bowler’s enthusiasm and optimism are commendable, fans didn’t hesitate to label his prediction as delusions, especially considering the team’s struggles this season. Some even claim that the edge rusher may have overlooked the key factors affecting the team’s performances- namely General Manager Jones and his questionable front office decisions.
One fan wrote, “Love Micah’s confidence but I swear he forgets Jerry Jones exists,” while another added, “I want whatever he’s smoking!” Here are some of the fan reactions:

He must forget that Jerry Jones owns the team. Cowboys' fans know nothing will change with Jerry or ANY Jones in charge.

Cowboys fans reading this will never see a Super Bowl in their lifetime. It’s written in the script. Jerry Jones gotta go.

Lots of steps. Good focus. While everybody else is going to be focused on the playoffs, MP is going on his Larry bird offseason prep.

It’s great that Micah believes but it takes a Front Office to believe and put that in action

Micah takes less 10 out of 10 our Front Office will pocket that money
Micah deserves to be on a franchise that’s actually trying to win a Championship pic.twitter.com/WQ7rcli0XL
Despite being mired in difficulties, the Cowboys managed to showcase glimpses of hope even after quarterback Dak Prescott went down with his season-ending hamstring injury. Parsons fostered four out of five wins before leading to the elimination at 7-10 and it’s those momentary glimmers that the edge rusher is binding all his hopes to.
